While definitely written with a youth audience in mind (I think that I was only nine or ten years old when I first read it, and it was certainly more creepy back then!), this is still an entertaining (and thirty-odd years after my first reading, quick) read if you're an aficionado of bigfoot, sasquatch and other mystery apes.     2. On the Track of Bigfoot by Marian T. Place, I believe, was originally written as a juvenile book. Either for the intended audience or because of the subject matter. (Considering the book was written back in the ‘70’s, I would guess because of the subject matter. At the time, Bigfoot was still considered a monster, so why would normal, sane, adults be interested in monsters? That’s kids’ stuff.     3. SPOILER ALERT!!They haven't caught a Bigfoot (yet). ha ha. The book is informative if you're interested in the remote possibility of a Bigfoot actually being somewhere out there waiting to be discovered with definitive proof. I enjoyed it; maybe you will too.
