    1. Carlos Fonseca's "Trece Rosas Rojas" is beautiful, this book is really great I thought that it was a really breath taking and sad true story about these ladies. I would say that the theme of the story is bravery and friendship because they all stuck together until the end. The author's style of writing is actually unique in a way if i may say. 3. The story of 13 girls who were murdered for 'crimes' against Franco's new government, complete with interviews, letters, and lists of the final charges. It is a heartbreaking story, but one that needs to be told so that people have a better understanding of history, and so that these girls, and others that lost their lives on the same day, won't be forgotten.
