    1. The Dalai Lama is a person to be emulated. However, in a book that picks out his quotes at random, they seem trite. I need context to be able to really take in the wisdom of these views, something from real-life situations in which the Dalai Lama was moved to behave in such a way as to make these quotes come alive for real. I felt like I did when I read Proverbs in the bible. A list of good things to be or considerbut lists leave me cold. Give me situations and responses and I will remember. Too [...]
