    1. This was kind of a disappointing read because I thought - based on the blurb - it would be a lot darker than it was.Even beyond that, there never really was a sense of urgency.Things justhappened. And the enumerated elements were just that. Enumerated. They weren't incorporated very well and seemed token at best. Actually, it kind of felt like the author got too excited about them and got ahead of herself, said too much when she should have moved on, skipped parts when she should have lingered t [...]

    2. not part of a series; better than below mentioned typical Scarlet Hyacinth serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical Scarlet Hyacinth? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but yeah.). out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all serials by UNLESS motivated otherwise by markedly good/bad writing:Scarlet Hyacinthjoyee flynnsunny daylynn hagenstormy glenncarol l [...]

    3. Scarlet Hyacinth brings this "intriguing plot" alive with her interesting characters and style of writing. Once I whirled into her pool of story, I can't seem to swim out until the end.

    4. Sweet little fairy tale not very dark, and It doesn't delve very deep. It's a nice simple read when one feels like having brain candy. For those purposes I would recommend it; Unless (even though it involves NO humans at all) the m/m/m/m or MerTwinCest themes were possibly an issue. For me, The plot was interesting and took some turns I wasn't really expecting. I was pleasantly surprised which is nice when one reads a lot. The "hard stuff" is touched on but quickly dealt with due to all the "tri [...]

    5. This was an interesting look at an underwater fantasy world with totally human problems. Jaden's isolation makes him vulnerable to attack, Chrys is blind to his twin's real problems (partly becuase they try to stay away from each other, as society demands) and Aurus may look powerful, but his ability to help the two is limited. I liked ths book for what it is: a fantstic tale with lots of angst, a mystery to solve and an enemy who is very dark and evil.

    6. Gosh. I really loved this story. I really thought that the couples worked out good by themselves but when you turn them into a realtionship consisting of four people. Like damn, thats hot. One thing i really wish happened in the story was for jaden and chrys to get pregnent or atleast give birth since it said male mer mans could do just that. I would recommend this story to most people i guess

    7. Probably the only thing I liked is the cover. The writing is simplistic, the plot predictable, there is virtually no world building, but there is insta-love and too much & too detailed sex (warning: (view spoiler)[twincest + menage (hide spoiler)]).

    8. Eh. Predictable. Jaden & Vaar were a nice enough couple, didn't really care for Chrys & Aurus was barely a blip on the screen.

    9. I don't think I have ever giggled so much when reading an ebook as I did when I read this one. And I'm afraid I did skip most of the sex scenes. I don't think mer-sex books are the books for me :(

    10. Despite the 3 star i like the book, twins-est not really into that. thou menage happened in the later half.
