    1. Again a fantastic book to read.The honesty and down to earth feel about this and indeed all the others leave you waiting for more!What I call a cup of tea and biscuit book! Curl up in front of the fire and enjoy!Cracking!!!

    2. the further adventures of mike the north yorkshire policeman in this the 4th book in the series still writing in his comic way with regulars walt turkey, sloe gin and all , soapy nothing wrong with the roof and ended up living at keepers cottage fixing the roof after a thunderstorm and had to laugh about the wasps nest.d also other adventures with drug dealers,bullies and protesters well worth reading if you want the comic funny side of modern day policing even though its a hard job and mike mak [...]

    3. Another great book from Mike Pannett.Told with sufficient gravitas to understand the policeman's lot, but with plenty of humour.The descriptions of the places and characters of Yorkshire never cease to make me homesick!
