    1. I won this book on .This author is a wonderful storyteller, and this is a very sweet, feel-good story. It reads sort of like a Lifetime movie, but a good one. The characters are likeable and relatable, and the reader quickly gets invested in them. I do think the book maybe could have been better edited to address a few minor inconsistencies and to make the story a little tighter and better-paced by getting rid of some of the superfluous and repetitive details. But these are certainly forgivable [...]

    2. Great book. All the characters were great but my favorite was Mr. Sourdough. Tremendous job by Geeta.

    3. (Review originally posted on my blog: A Word's Worth)(Book received from publisher for review)Annabelle always thought leaving Riverdale was the answer - that somewhere, out there, would be the solution to her problems, the dream she couldn't even define. So when she left for college, she never planned to come back. Well, she thought she'd visit, but she never saw herself staying. Eventually visits proved to be impossible, and Belle's first return to Riverdale came on the heels of her graduation [...]

    4. I didn't quite enjoy the plot though despite Schrayter's stunning imagery and distinct characters to support her story. I hope it's not too wicked of me to say that the plot was too 'simple' for my liking; I felt as though I was watching some mellow chick flick when I was looking for intense moment the whole time and even some romantic thrill or humor, especially between Belle and Riley. Most of the time, I could predict what will happen next in the story. In spite of that, I adored Schrayter' n [...]

    5. Annebell is always trying to get away from her home town of Riverdale despite her friends and families wishes that she will ultimately decide to stick around. When she returns home for her graduation party Annabell finds her beloved bakery closed heartbroken she takes it upon herself to bring it back from the grave. With a little help from her friends she learns that a little tender loving care can go a long way. This is a hometown book that will warm you to the soul and I would recommend it to [...]

    6. I loved this book, it is particularly hard for me to find books that just captivate me, but this one did! The storyline was so relateable to me, having grown up in a small New England town myself, and the love story between Belle and Riley made my heart do flips as well. Geeta has a fabulous way of making the reader feel as if they are in the story, and that the characters are real friends or apart of their own family. The images and emotions Geeta was able to capture really made the story what [...]
