    1. One of the more difficult books I've read recently, this book challenged me to unlock the mystery of its form as it challenged me to unlock the history of Argentina. Seductive and descriptive, The End of the Story does not bow to easy expectations of how we want to believe we would act. Instead, it asks the question, "what are you really willing to fight for?"

    3. I read this book for a Spanish class on post-dictatorship literature, specifically in the southern cone. While somewhat confusing for a non-native speaker, I found the book to challenge my own thoughts about political activism and social/moral responsibility.

    6. Really enjoyed this book but found it hard to follow at some points. Maybe it's a cultural difference in creating narrative or maybe I just don't know that much about Argentinian history. Both are possibilities. Really glad I read it though.

    7. This was a giveaway book. I made it through chapter 1. The writing is very convoluted and hard to understand. Maybe it is a bad translation? I was not even sure who the narrator was. I may pick it up and try again some day.
