    1. This is a wonderful picture book that spans several generations of women, centered around the traditions of making pies, quilts, and singing lullabies to their children. Even though the manner of doing these things might change over time, the emotional core remains the same.

    2. Unfortunately our library no longer has a copy of the book, it chronicles three generations of women and their version of cherry pie including home baking, baking with a prebaked crust and my version picking up a pie at the market!
