    1. I'm going to catch flack for this but I am never anything but honest. I heard about this book months ago, so I was waiting for it to be released. I figured it was different, based on the blurb. But I can't believe how disappointed I was. I don't even know where to start, so hang on She 17, life happens in a completely terrible way, then it's 6 years later and she's sleeping in class. That's all you ever really hear about her being in school, if it weren't for that ONE part and the ONE part where [...]

    2. Needs a serious edit. Lots of grammar errors, missing or misused punctuation, odd sentence and dialogue structures and whole lot of inconsistencies made for a very stilted read. Even something as simple as using contractions more often would have made a difference. The dialogue felt formal, impersonal and flat. The little inconsistencies here and there also made it hard to get into the story and get a feel for the characters. They were silly (and easily fixed) mistakes too - like Reece being spe [...]

    3. The plot sounded promising and the first few chapters gripped my attention. Sure I get it that the heroine is jaded/broken because of a tragic incident (view spoiler)[ she was beaten then raped(hide spoiler)] but damn I hated how fickle-minded she is. She's attracted and feels this strong connection with Zane (view spoiler)[ her savior(hide spoiler)] but hooked up with Jon. Who in their right mind hooks up with a guy within 5 hours of meeting him (Add in the fact that she has trust issues with m [...]

    4. Ok so I am really excited to finally have read this book and I promised an honest reviewi give it 4 stars. The beginning of the story was the gripping point in my opinion (it talks about a very true situation that can occure and does occure in real lifei like stories that have real life situations)is is where we learn about Reece's father her relationship with her mother her friends Jodi and Adam and also what happens to her when she is 17. We also meet Danny (basically her adpoted father since h [...]

    5. I really wanted to like this book. I really did. This book had potential to be very good, but it really fell flat. The plot really caught my attention when I read it on , but the book just did not deliver. Too much time was focused on Reece pushing everyone away and not enough time focused on helping her heal. The book talked about how she couldn't have sex because of her experience, but contradicted itself later on. It also never said what happened with Adam. Also, the book was in need of editi [...]

    6. Apparently this book isn't coming out. You cant preorder like you can most books coming out and you cant find anything about it other than on good reads. :(

    7. I have wanted to read this since I heard about it and finally got around to it. I also must admit that the muse/cover model did catch my attention also but the story is really what I wanted to know more about. It was emotional that's for sure and when you say roller coaster of emotions this book could be the definition of it with the happy, scared, sad, loved, and all over again. Reece was easy for me to relate to and although at times I wanted to slap her because she would not make up her mind [...]

    8. This was a beautiful story about a girl named Reese who was already struggling with some tragedy from the past. At the start of the book she is playing pool at a local bar and her best friend who has been away in the military surprises her in more ways then one. But unfortunately the worst tragedy strikes her that fateful night. With out giving anything away I will say that this book touches on a lot of emotions and at times the character's you want to route for turn out to be a villain and the [...]

    9. So I just finished Strong Enough by Alexis Alexander. I loved it! As I read this book I had a wide range of emotions going through me. She wrote in a way that kept me wanting to read more (forget about doing anything else is how I felt). Reece has reasons for why she has built up walls in her life. After going through several of the most traumatic life experiences a person could go through she doesn't show her emotion or feeling to anyone until she finds a new trainer and then she only allows hi [...]

    10. Loved this book, Reece Miller story starts out with her being a 17 year old who is full of life, spark and has big dreams for her future. Something tragic happens to her one night that changes who she is. Reece becomes withdrawn and builds this wall around herself. Zane Bauer comes to Reece's rescue more than once and he stirs feelings in her that she hasn't had in a long time, there is also something about Zane that is familiar but she's not sure what that is. There are moments in this book tha [...]

    11. I enjoyed this book. Reece at the age os 12 loss her father he was her world her Mother was dealing with the loss her way and Reece didnt exist to her then she had a very traumatic event happen to her at 17. Since then she has loss her family, friends and the one Boy she loved. now 6 yrs later after closing her self off to others she ia surviving the best way she can alone. Then Zane enters her life and they have this connection but Reece trys to fight it. Zane wants to help bring Reece back int [...]

    12. omg i just want to keep reading i NEED to know more, know what happens now damn i can't wait for the next book to come out! =) there are so many things i dont understand, it's killing me!and, MAN! i already feel bad for (view spoiler)[Jon, 'cause i really like him. he's nice and hot, but u always know it is going to be Zane (or at least, i PRAY for him to be the one). (hide spoiler)]

    13. My heart shattered what happens to her but she's very strong young women and I fell inlove with her but what happen to Adam? And for Zane I truly loved this guy that sometimes its hurts. Total cliffhanger I just wished the second book will come out sooner!!!

    14. When ohhhh when is the release date?? May I know!! But it's almost the end of may!! I'm whining yes I am I want this book!!!

    15. Loved it! Even though in the end I wanted more. This was a great story and had me hooked from the start. I am excited to read what comes next with Reese and Zane!

    16. This book was awesome! The story makes you believe that if you feel broken you can be put back together. Reece/Zane's story is a work in progress!! Loved the story <3

    17. This book had so much potential but it was so badly executed I could cry. There were so many inconsistencies throughout and the ending especially left me baffled. The blurb made me so excited to read the book and I must say the first chapter was still pretty fine. Then the tragedy happened and everything went downhill from there. No explanation was given for Adam and where he went or what he said to here we then see Reece or Reese (inconsistency in the spelling of her name even) in school for tha [...]

    18. Reece Miller is one bad ass chick, can't nobody break through her hard shell, or so she thinks. After one tragic night Reece has shut everyone out and closed her self off. No guy can get close to her with out her pushing them away, that is until she realizes she needs to let the old Reece out some. This book was just phenomenal, Alexis Alexander is an amazing writer and I can't wait to see what she comes up with in the sequel. Strong Enough made me cry, laugh and get so angry. I loved Zane he wa [...]

    19. I absolutely loved this book. I got drawn into the book by the reader it held me captivated and riveted. Spencer and Emilio story was definitely told to the fullest and the audio does not take away from the story it actually gives it so much life. I loved every minute of Spencer and Emilio’s story. This is a story of finding love and finding fate and accepting that happiness does happen and finds you when you least believe it. Spencer and Emilio’s is just fighting the age gap but so many oth [...]

    20. what the hell happened with Adam?????this book was frustrating, I kept reading it 'cause I wanted to know what happened to Adamhow can you introduce a charming and lovable character and then simply forget about it?also since Recce didn't talked about what happened the night she was attacked and what happened with Adam I couldn't relate to her heartbreak, disappointment and betrayaland then her interest in sterling, then zane, then jon, it felt kind of unbelievable or contradictoryI don't know ma [...]

    21. This is one of those books that touches a few different Subject area, I was so caught up in the story that I didn't realize I came to the end. Abuse can effect us on so many different levels emotionally, physically and even spiritually. When you have been hurt or traumatized in such a way that you feel you can not get close to anyone and all you do is put up walls it can be detrimental to everyone around you. Sometimes you don't even realize your doing it because it's a self defense mechanism th [...]

    22. Reece is beautiful IMHO. She has the class of The Great Gatsby, and the wits of the old wizard from Willow. I personally loved the sword fight scene with all of the post-apocalyptic anti-American union people. I'm not sure I have ever read about so many decapitations in one book. When she buys the Mogwai from the sooth Sayer in New York city, I knew she wouldn't follow the rules, and guess what? It spawned evil Mogwai that turned into hideous Gremlins, which she then decapitated. Over-all, outst [...]

    23. What a good book!! First off I love the name Reece so I loved her right away. I really thought I was goin to like a couple of the guys this book and man I was wring about them! Grrr I hate that lol. Reece is very guarded and unsure if what she needs and wants. When a very hot Zane comes along she really has no choice to look at him there is some draw that that is making her go to him. Btw I have met "Zane" and he is so hot lol!!! You won't be disappointed in this book

    24. Purchased this from , gambled on there being editing improvements since last reviewed. Cracked up at "Closter phobic" and "stubble backwards" and I'm less than 50% through. Gotta say the author needs to learn how and when to use an apostrophe. And I'm suffering homonym hell.Story is intriguing enough, I'll probably finish, but I'm not anxious to continue the series unless the author learns punctuation and grammar along with how to use a dictionary.
