  1. A well-written, academic analysis of the Landing. A little dry, but probably the first time I have read an analysis that explained what went wrong – and why the ANZACS probably couldn't have held their objectives even if everything had gone right.

  2. A little too dry & technical, but balance this with Carlyon's masterpiece & you have the only two books you need to stand on Ari Burnu & understand how and why the Landing unfolded.
