    1. This is such a terrific series. I love it. I will never get tire of the amazing characters on The League series. I swear I have never read a series with SO MANY main characters before this one. I love the companionship and constant feeling of acceptance between them all. While we constantly change from one character to another, you would never mix them up. Another thing I love about this series is that it only takes me a second to get into the story and remember every single detail of the previo [...]

    2. Final rating: 5/5 stars Strong alone. Stronger together. The League is one of my favorite series, ever. I fell in love with it from the first book. Even though I have not rated all the books from the series with 5 stars, they still left strong impression on me. It is mostly because of the world building and characters. I fell in love with all Sentella's members and their partners. This book, though, requires that you have read all the books before - because everynglearacter from Sentella appears [...]

    3. Love it!!!! Dancer! FAIN! ♥Right now I'm spechless. I want the next one. HihihiYeah. So, yeah, I'm an andarion fangirl. :DThe whole story is perfect. Every character is awesome. As a fan of the League series and fan of Hauk: OMG! 2013! Yes! I going to have a fabulous yearDelayed to november Okay, okay.Annddd noooooo. It's delayed again, right now to 2014 *sigh*

    4. What's this? A tortured hero from Sherrilyn Kenyon that isn't beaten, battered, and betrayed a dozen times over to the point of overkill? Don't get me wrong, Hauk hasn't had it easy by a long shot. Not with a psychotic older brother, mother that blames him for not dying after surviving a fire that left him badly scarred (Andarion race likes their warriors to be the deadliest but no scars allowed!), and a sister in law, Dariana, that is conniving and malicious. His story hits you where it hurts y [...]

    5. AudiobookFor the best fictional bachelor pad the award goes to: Hawk ***** Clapping Wildly******Yes, this character has the home of dreams with all the cherries on top. Why am I focusing on this? Read the book and visualize the dream, omg the shower. ~sigh~ I could live there with a Hawk.If you are not up to date on this series you should be.Hawk is massive, sexy and scarred by his past, and beaten by his present. He is trapped in unhappiness and celibacy. The hot hunk of a man is a virgin, and [...]

    6. I really enjoyed this story. I liked Sumi a lot and felt she was a great fit for my beloved Hauk. I also loved how much time we got to spend around the other Sentella folks and their families. It makes me want to go back and reread Devyn's story to see familiar youngster faces :)My only complaint is that I wish the book was a little longer because there were times when I felt the story was kinda rushed

    7. "Strong Alone. Stronger Together."When Dancer Hauk takes his nephew Darice for his Andarion Endurance test that will bring him into manhood with his friend's daughter Thia, they stumble upon an injured young woman named Sumi who works as an assassin for the League who are one of the many races who have a bounty on the male's head. When Dancer falls in love with the assassin, he does what he can to protect his little mia and his family from the hunters that are after him. Can they stay safe and o [...]

    8. This is without doubt my favourite sci fi series bar none. Ms Kenyon is at the top of her game with an imagination and talent that few can emulate. Whilst this series is futuristic we are never bombarded with lots of technical details but just enough to enrich the world she has created Amazing world building and a storyline of good versus evil that never grows old. Add in her trademark alpha males with romance in spades and yes I'm a very happy reader. This time it's Hauk the colossal Andarian wa [...]

    9. Oh the League. I used to love you. Arguably more than the Dark Hunters, which I also used to love and now mildly have warm feels towards, I guess. It's complicated with both series now. I hoped this series wouldn't become really samey, like DH did, but alas. I wanted so much more for Hauk's book. Though I did like his and Sumi's relationship up until they left planet Arizona or whatever. I am disappoint. Is it because this and the DH series were very nearly the first real para-romance I ever rea [...]

    10. Born of Fury totally lived up to my expectations after reading the other The League stories! These crazy alien assassins and their mates truly made the story excellent! This and all my other reviews are originally posted on my blog(un)Conventional Bookviews

    11. i love this series. some books better than others, and this is one of the better ones!

    12. I will not lie to you: I haven't read a Kenyon book in a long time. I was a very huge fan of the Dark-Hunter series, right up until Acheron, which started out as a phenomenal story and ended ad as wishy-washy cliche. The couple of books I read in that series after were equally wishy-washy and nowhere near the caliber of story as the prior ones in the series.I found the League series and was really blown away by the first book. Nykyrian Quiakides is a totally believable yet utterly frightening ch [...]

    13. Leave it to Kenyon to make gorgeous lethal men, turn them into goo around their families, and still make them absolutely bad asses. I loved Hauk in this story. You got to see a side of him that you didn’t get in the earlier books, and of course it breaks your heart. I also liked him with Sumi. Very kick ass heroine. Can’t go wrong pairing the two of those up. The Sentella family just keeps getting bigger and bigger. The interaction between all of them was sweet and funny. There is much love, [...]

Wau.

    15. I love these guys so much :D When I'm reading it feels like I'm part of this batshit crazy family too *-* Can't wait for Born of Vengeance, Born of Betrayal and Born of Defiance, and Nero's and Chayden's book. I guess my book would be the Born of Impatience XD

    16. 17. The release of the latest League book is done at the time of a special anniversary. The first League book was released 20 years ago! And I for one am very happy the Ms. Kenyon has the time and opportunity to get back to this awesome series and expand on these wonderful characters!Dancer Hauk is one of the founding members of the Sentella - an organization that has declared war - justifiably - on the League in the Ichidian Universe. He is also the last of his lineage and as such he is responsible [...]

    18. This book was epic!!! I loved every moment of this book. I believe this series gets better and better. The characters are fantastic. God bless the Sentela they are an awesome bunch of quircky peeps. I can't wait to see who the next book will be about!!!

    19. Sherrilyn Kenyon is the queen of the tortured hero. I have to admit, I was a little worried where she would go next after the misery of Styxx, but I am happy to say she struck a much better balance this time around. This is Hauk’s story and we finally get to go beyond his hulking tough-as-nails exterior, to the warm and gooey center underneath.Hauk has spent almost all of his adult life betrothed to a woman who hates his guts. Deandra was his brother’s wife and when he died, the customs of t [...]

    20. Dancer Hauk is one of the founding members of the Sentella and one of the most fearsome fighters in the universe. However, back home he is considered deformed because of his scars and unworthy by his family. However, as the last adult male in his bloodline Hauk must take his nephew on his Endeavor, a hard core camping trip, but, Hauk is one of the most wanted men in the universe and a very powerful man wants him dead. Sumi Antaxas was conscripted to the League after killing her boyfriend in self [...]

    21. There's a reason I'll travel hours and hours to stand in line to meet Sherrilyn Kenyon in person or purchase one of her books without even looking at the content blurb or price. She's that good at providing a well rounded reading experience that I'm an addict and NEED my fix whenever/however she releases a new book. So many times a character in a series who I take an extra special liking to becomes a disappointment when they eventually are featured in their own installment. Such was my worry abo [...]

    22. The seventh book in Sherrilyn Kenyon's The League series. Dancer Hauk takes his nephew on his Endurance trip. This is a right of passage for young men and Hauk's brother died when he took him on his many years before. Along for the trip is Thia, the daughter of Nemesis aka Nykyrian of Born of Night. While on the planet they run across Sumi. Sumi was sent by The League to get incriminating evidence against Hauk for the evil Kyr. Sumi is forced to obey his commands due to the threat to Sumi's daug [...]

    23. Unfortunately Sherrilyn Kenyon has fallen into a pattern of telling her readers everything instead of showing them anything. This book spent A LOT of time on dialogue, someone was ALWAYS saying something but there was never any action or character development of any kind. Of course, there was a tortured hero because all of her heros are tortured by some horrible person that betrayed them in the WORST possible way and the heroine is the only women in the whole universe that valued them as the won [...]

    24. I really enjoy reading SciFi Romance, but I have found few that I've loved. Of the ones I have found The League is my favorite. I love Hauk and Sumi's story. I've been hoping Hauk would get his own book since his first appearance. Secondary character Thia is pretty bad ass. I hope she gets her own book. Like the books before it, Born of Fury is sexy, heartwarming and dangerous. An excellent read.I highly recommend this series. The League is quite an intricate world with amazing characters. If yo [...]

    25. I love the world and I love the characters. However, I could never settle in this book. I was always trying to figure out or remember who everyone was. It is a good but I was distracted from the romance which is what I love the most.

    26. Another great addition to The League world.  Dancer finally gets his HEA!Born of Fury picks up a few months after Born of Silence and Cloak and Silence.I’ve noticed that the blurb is very vague so I’m going to give a very brief synopsis of the plot:In true Andarion custom, in order to become an adult, one must complete an Endurance:  six weeks of roughing it on the hostile planet of Oksana with a close adult male relative.  Dancer’s Endurance was a disaster and now he is taking Darice, [...]

    27. The lastest in Kenyon's League SeriesOkay I know at first glance it looks like a realy big, thick bookokay so it's only 678 pages but after you start reading all those pages just fly by. (The time as wellh don't tell the hubby I stayed up half the night to finish it.)Definatly not as dark/extreamly gray as some of the previous League books. You get some awesome battle, fights and survival scenes along with some sexy ones and a bunch of heartwarming ones. So a mixture of never ending reading fun. [...]

    28. Born of Fury was simply amazing! I loved getting to know Dancer "Hauk" and Sumi, and revisiting all the past characters. I love how the Sentella have formed their own family, and how they always have each other's back. It was so funny when Sumi went to assassinate the woman that tried to kill Hauk, and then all his friends started showing up because they also wanted to avenge him. And the way Hauk defended Sumi was incredible. They're way out-numbered, and Sumi got shot in the arm so Hauk goes a [...]

    29. REVIEW & INTERVIEW: Born of Fury (League Series) by Sherrilyn Kenyon wp/p3d0RZ-1n4 Publication Date: July 1, 2014Reviewed By: Reading In Pajamas/ Cori Rated: 5 StarsREVIEW: Oh my goodness I loved this book so my much! This series just keeps getting better and better! I've have always loved Hauk and couldn't wait for this book! He ends up with the perfect woman for him. She kicks butt and protects her male. Loved Sumi! Their story is full of action, danger, emotion and romance. Sherrilyn Keny [...]

    30. I was completely amazed by this book! I must warn you, it does start out very slowly, but starts to pick up at the 35-40% mark until it becomes this rolling thundering juggernaut that you just can't put down! The focus on much of this book seems to be on family, but also on the Andarion culture as a whole. I really liked seeing the Sentella clan all together as a whole and interacting with one another.Sumi was a wonderful heroine, wounded and yet noble at the same time. She was a strong fighter a [...]
