    1. God's Chosen by David Mandel David and Goliath a folklore that was depicted in many ways, had David as a shepherd boy (the hero) killing the giant Goliath. David as the king of Israel is a different story altogether, his life as a God's chosen one and the means by which he had achieved it is the plot of this story. The author has portrayed the story of King David through the testimony of the closest people to the king, this made the book a very interesting one. Best reads.

    2. Great Historical Characters. Loved the settings and the time. David wasn't the best man by far but he did love his GOD.
