    1. There are so many things I loved about this book. The language, the people, the heartbreak, the suffering, the families, the twisting in and out of time -- so lyrical, so poetic. I learned a lot and found myself googling. Is this a real person? Is this a real place? Such flawed and beautiful and hopeful people. Like a dream. Long, lush sentences and thoughts.
