    1. Initially, I was put of by the pedagogic tone of the book because I really don't need lectures on proper diet (being more than an infrequent visitor to fast-food bistros). But that was only the first chapter. Next came a bunch of really interesting info and, of course, the heart of the book, recipes. The part on European cuisine will be really handy because:1) I can find the ingredients,2) It's not easy (even in the era of the www) to find a decent and/or original recipe for chickpeas or eggplan [...]
