    2. I won this book in a Giveaway. I entered to win this book because it was a retelling of familiar Bible stories. One of my favorite authors is Liz Curtis Higgs. She often writes familiar bible stories using a different setting. Since I enjoy her retellings so much, I thought I would also enjoy the parables retold.
