    1. SNS Rating: 4.66~~~~~~~~~~Virginia's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~Tamara Hoffa has bought a book that has some shifters and military that are at odds. Liz has work so hard to bring cure for many disease, the one that she has not been able to fine. Is for cancer that is affect her. She knows that there must be something in the blood of the shifters that may help her. What do you do when military wants you to give them results from the shifters that they have captured for their own agenda? Liz [...]

    2. My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!! ***Received the ebook for an honest review The cover is intense because Martin does look….well scary, but I love the fierceness :)This is book 2 in the Animal in Me series, and I couldn’t wait to read it. I fell in love with all the characters and their loyalty to each other in the first book and couldn’t wait to return to Honey Corners for more. Tamara again WOWed me with her awesome sense of humor that she infuses into her books. She impr [...]

    3. I enjoyed the first book in this series, Hers to Bear. Bears are my favorite type of shifter, so I am always on the look out for another good book centered around the cuddly, yet often grumpy, bears. This book doesn't quite pick up where the first one left off. In fact, it backs up, giving us the events leading up to the big climax at the end of book one from Lizzy's perspective. This is really important, because just taking it from the bear's side of things, I wasn't inclined to be very friendl [...]

    4. Book 2 in the Animal in Me series, I loved Martin and Elizabeth. This was a hard book for me to write. My mom passed away just after I began writing it, from cancer, and my heroine, Elizabeth is a cancer survivor. So, I'm sure you can imagine it was heart-wrenching.10% of the profits from Bear Hearts go to the American Cancer Society.I hope you enjoy this sweet and sexy love love story as much as loved creating it.

    5. Bear Hearts is the second book in the Animal in Me series. I haven’t read the first book, but I didn’t feel like I was missing any information. The premise drew me to this book. It is different than many shifter romances because of the science element. It is hard for me to rate this book. There was a lot a liked about it, but also a lot I didn’t like about it.Dr. Elizabeth Montrose is dying of cancer. Her father, an army general, hires her to head the civilian branch of a secret research m [...]

    6. I'm not one to read paranormal romance or any kind of paranormal books--this was my first, and I'm so glad I picked it up! Firstly, I've never read or heard of shifters. Pardon my ignorance, but I'll be reading more about them, guaranteed!Elizabeth has spent her life in hospitals, fighting cancer, now she has been deemed "in remission." Her military father, "the General" has offered her the position of head researcher of a team assigned to study the shifters who seem to never get ill or have dis [...]

    7. Reviewed for Read Your Writes Book Reviewsby KimThe ending of Hers to Bear, the first book in the series, sets up the story for Bear Hearts. And while this is the case, the books are standalone reads. I went into reading Bear Hearts really trying to figure out how Elizabeth Montrose and Martin Kruger were ever going to be couple, with the huge obstacle in their path. If I’m being honest, after reading Hers to Bear, I wasn’t a fan of Elizabeth. Bear Hearts starts out with Elizabeth’s backst [...]

    8. It felt like I had waited forever for this book to come out but in reality I only waited a few months. I was that excited to read after reading the first book 'Hers to Bear' in this fantastic series. If you haven't read book one have no fear, I believe after reading book two you could read it as a standalone as the Author explains in the first thirty percent of this book what happened at the end of book one.If you are like me though, you will want to read everything from the beginning. The story [...]

    9. Independent Reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock.Elizabeth knew her time was running, the leukemia was back. But she needed to save these children, those who had been stolen fromtheir familes in the dead of night. Martin, second in command to the bear clan's Sippe Bern, leads the attack on the hidden facility, and floored when he catches Elizabeth's scent, more so when he realises what it means to him, and what her illness means. But being part of the testing on the children mea [...]

    10. Finding your mate, the one fated to complete you, only to learn that she is the enemy. Unfortunately that appears to be Martin’s fate or is it? Things are not as the appear when it comes to Elizabeth. She is fighting a battle on two fronts and it doesn’t appear that she will win either. But Tamara Hoffa isn’t going to make it that easy for Martin or Elizabeth in Bears Heart, the second story in the Animal in Me series. How does Martin learn to trust in fate? Especially when fate has given [...]

    13. Tamara Hoffa brings a new level of what if to the world of shifters. What if their blood could help cure human disease. This is what Dr. Elizabeth Montrose is trying to find out. Unfortunately, higher ups aren't willing to wait and authorize the kidnapping of shifter children. Liz didn't sign up for this and is working behind the scene to get these children out. When the local bear alpha's mate is also brought in with some more children, Liz hopes she will be able to get the help of the alpha to [...]

    14. Bear Hearts (Animal in Me Book 2)by Tamara HoffaElizabeth is a scientist and she is ill. She is looking for a cure for human diseases and where better to look then to the newly revealed shifters. Rumors are flying of them healing faster, living longer and never getting sick all. She feels all she needs to do is ask for their help and surly they will be willing. Yeah, not so much. So, the powers that be decide to go another route and Elizabeth doesn't like it.Martin is second in the clan. Like mo [...]

    15. Dr. Elizabeth Montrose is researching to find a cure for cancer, a disease very personal to Elizabeth who will die if a cure is not found. Unable to resist heading up the civilian division of a new government organization at the request of her father, General Paton Montrose, Elizabeth is excited about the possibility of finding the cure in shifter genes. Unfortunately, things are moving far to slowly for her bosses, the live trials were a disaster, and the kidnapping of shifter children starts. [...]

    16. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.Tamara Hoffa has taken the shifter romance into new heights with the second book in this series. Even though each book is a stand alone, they are all tied together, each being a spinoff of the first. Although some parts were repeated from the first book, it was minimal, and necessary if you haven't read it first. The plot is a heart retching love story that poses many questions regarding shifters and their special abilities. Liz is [...]

    17. I received this book from Goddess Fish Promotions in return for a fair and honest review. This is the second book in the series although it can be read as a standalone (as I have) without losing any of the enjoyment from it.Bear Hearts tells the tale of Martin and Elizabeth, fated mates that are on opposite sides or are they? I loved how Martin is quick to jump on Elizabeth's lack of trust in him but is also man enough - or should that be bear enough - to admit that he hasn't actually told her an [...]

    18. This was another great book in the series.I loved Martin and Liz. Martin was such a cuddly bear, that I just wanted to play with him myself. I loved seeing Liz's struggles and watching her realization that she could make a difference and trying to take things into her own hands. The only thing that I wasn't sure about was the repeating in the first 1/4 or so of the book from book 1. Other than that, it was fantastic. On the plus side, once I started reading it, I remembered what I had read in bo [...]

    19. Lizz has had leukemia since she was six and she wants to find a cure before her time is up in this world. She doesn't want anyone to go through what she went through. Colonel Paton Montrose calls and set up a meeting with her and she gets nervous cause he never wants to meet with her on the base. He wants her to head up Project Asclepius and she think this is the opportunity of a life time until things start going down hill and she caught between a rock and a hard place. Martin is on a mission t [...]

    20. This is the second book in the series and takes place right after the first book. You will get some flashbacks from the first story so beware. Elizabeth Montrose has a PhD and is working with the Army trying to figure out how and why shifters don't get sick and heal faster. She also has a secret she is fighting a rare form of cancer. Martin is a high ranking member of the Sippe and learns that Liz is his mate and he is torn because not only is she sick but he thinks that she is evil. When he fin [...]

    21. I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Tamara Hoffman. This is book 2 of The Animal In Me series by the author.Dr. Elizabeth Montrose is dying and has given up on getting married and having kids. When she comes across a sexy shifter can she put her fathers orders aside or will they destroy her. Martin Kruger knows that Dr. Elizabeth Montrose is working to put an end to shifters but he also knows she is his mate. Will fate find a way to bring these 2 together. The flow of [...]

    22. Bears Heart didn't disappoint. Tamara Hoffa has created this amazing world of big hulking males that are teddybear soft to their loved ones but scary grizzly bears to their enemies. Elizabeth is woman you can't help but hope she gets the future she deserves. Martin is just the man to help her get that if they can get past the fact she is the enemy. I really can't wait for the next book in the series.

    23. 4.5/5.0This paranormal romance is a fresh and unique spin on the typical shifter tale with the inclusion of a military aspect.Read full review in the 2016 March issue of InD'tale Magazine.

    24. I had the privilege of getting a free copy of this book for review for an honest review. I can honestly say everyone who likes a good love story should read it. This is a great book. The story keeps you interested the whole way through, never knowing what is going to happen next. The love is a shining example of looking at everything and not judging before you speak. The sex is HOT.

    25. Absolutely love this series!! Great story line and awesome characters that you love instantly! Can't wait for the next book :))

    26. This book had a great concept - but wasn't put together very well. The beginning of the story covers a lot of time in just a couple chapters - but it isn't very clear about the time that's being covered. So I was a little surprised at some of the jumps.Elizabeth was also a little too confusing for me. She did several things that she knew were wrong, but she did them anyway so she could keep an eye on things. I just didn't buy it. What she did made me not like her - even though she wasn't always [...]

    27. MateI loved this book just as much as the first one. I just purchased the third book and I can't wait to read it. I normally don't like to read a book if it has several parts to it. This shifter thing keeps me wanting to read more and more.

    28. Great follow upThis was another beautifully written story. It picks up right where the first book left off, and thankfully provides a wonderful resolution to the myriad of problems that are presented. Now, on to book three.
