    1. I loved this book, and I couldn't put it down!! I was ensnared from the fist chapter! I wept, I smiled, I cringed. I was so happy at the ending! I hope to read more and see more from this wonderful author along this same story line!! Simply wonderful. Some of the reviews on her other work I found very hilarious, like hooked like a crochet addict in a yarn store, or something to that effect. I felt just like this!! I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I hate to give aw [...]

    2. I received and ARC copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.Persephone is engaged to the son of the Mayor of her small town. She doesn't love him, rather she is being forced in this marriage by her parents. On a walk in the forest one day, after her father has taken his anger out on her, she chances a meeting with a gorgeous man. Adrian and Persephone are instantly attracted to each other and agree to get to know each other a little before they run away together, thus avo [...]

    3. "An Enchanting Book"The story line of this book is fantastic!. The characters are Marvelous. Persephone is the oldest Daughter of a drunken Father and a over worked Mother. As the oldest of the siblings it is left up to Persephone to take care of the home and wait on her abusive Father. Persephone is of marring age so her parents plan to marry her off to the Mayors son. Only she does not want to marry him. Persephone would rather read and walk in the forest that she goes to to escape her family. [...]

    4. I was gifted this ARC for an honest review and what a gift it was. Not having read this author before I wasn't sure if I'd like it not. From the first chapter I was hooked. No spoilers, read the blurb then read the story and you won't be disappointed. It was an original story and I laughed and cried along with the characters. It had a beautiful ending and such a feel good moment.Well done Phoenix, I really look forward to more stories from you :)

    5. A very emotional fantasy ride. This book takes place in a mythical world, with witches (light and dark), Wizards, Angels, and even ghostly gypsies. Persephone is a strong character, she has more than her share of hard times, but perseveres. There is a lot of action. There are heart rending times. And some romance.

    6. Was originally posted on Paranormal Sisters:paranormalsisters*Was given a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review*The premise and the title is what got me interested so I signed up for a chance at the ARC of Persephone. I've also never read anything from this author before so I had no idea what I was getting myself into.I don't read much fantasy but when I do I enjoy the genre when it comes my way. However, I didn't enjoy this world within Persephone. In this world parents choose w [...]

    7. I have to say that I absolutely LOVED this book! I could not put it down! I read it in two days, but of course my schedule doesn't allow me to read much. I probably could have read this in one day it was so good. The story line is spectacular. I believe that there is a God or Demi God named Persephone, but I do not think that this story has anything to do with that mythology. I could be wrong though because I have never read much about the historical Persephone. Anyway, this book took place in w [...]

    8. ~I received a free ARC in exchange for a fair review~Persephone, the title character, is a young women dreaming of a different life. Chafing under the demands of her bitter parents and facing an unhappy, arranged marriage, she is searching for a future of love and independence. When she meets a stranger in the forest, events are set in motion that see Persephone fleeing her village and uncovering the secrets of her past. With a legacy of magic behind her, Persephone discovers her true destiny. I [...]
