    1. There were a lot of things I liked this book for. Straight away the first few chapters really got me going. I could immediately recognize the funk and the sass and the spark in this writing style. And I dig it! Proper amount of funk and sass, you could say, is a bookish turn on for me. From early on I could see I was dealing with a great female character. I liked her straight away even though she did manage to bamboozle me through the rest of the book, but I’ll tell you about that soon. Let’ [...]

    2. Dirty Deeds by Christy King is a great many things -- badass vigilante chick, undercover saga, heartbreaking love story, and supernatural drama that spans over the centuries, behind the proverbial curtain to the point where the reader doesn't realize the true ramifications of Cameron James' life until it's too late.Even with all of that going for it, Dirty Deeds never feels rushed or crammed too full. A book this ambitious in vision could've easily been bogged down by that vision. Yet King never [...]

    3. Excerpt: ‘It was strange how I could feel it all happen inside of me. Energy leaked out of my body in draining puffs. Cold replaced it, snaking in through my pores. People say they go numb, but it wasn’t numb I was feeling. I just couldn’t move, not of my own volition. My body moved, but not to my own commands. I felt lost and trapped inside. Fogginess filled the empty spaces. I could hear my own breathing just fine. My own heartbeat. Everyone else sounded faraway and insignificant.’The [...]

    4. I wish I could find the appropriate words to explain how impressed I am by Ms King's voice. The word 'commanding' comes to mind. Whether the author is aware of it or not (and most author's are not aware of their own genius; most are plagued with insecurity), Ms King's words, her story line, her talent, the details, the emotion, and so on, all command your attention, capture your heart, and bring you to your feet with the urge to offer loud applause. Brilliant!Dirty Deeds has so many twist and tu [...]

    5. Dirty Deeds is a smart, entertaining book that throws you a curve ball with each new chapter. Just when you think you know what is going on the direction changes and that is a GOOD thing. Dirty Deeds can be categorized as romantic suspense with a side of paranormal. Christy King writes smart and interesting characterseven the bad guys are kind of lovable. No one is who they seem. Dirty Deeds has a little bit of everything -- mystery, danger, romance, all kinds of bad guys and one kick butt heroi [...]

    6. Absolutely loved this book! It's one of my all-time favourite reads I have to say. Just loved everything about it. It certainly ticked all my boxes!

    7. The twisting, sometimes intriguing, plot of “Dirty Deeds” shows a fertile imagination.Read full review in the 2017 February issue of InD'tale Magazine.
