    1. 2.5 stars. This was an OK read. It was safe and only had one intimate scene in it. The scene was meaningful, following a much needed and purposeful conversation between the MCs, which was so mature I almost cried with gratitude. If you're looking for an insta-love story where the MCs jump into bed right away, this book is not for you. This was a sweet story, told in an engaging style, but coming off the heels of the first book of this series, this paled in comparison. There were still some funny [...]

    2. Asher Rainham is a spymaster, and a newly titled viscount. He's attending a Christmas house party, and looks forward to some good company, brandy, and card games. He's surprised to be beaten at cards by a lovely lady, Lily Mereworth, who, unbeknownst to him, is somewhat of a math genius. Though he had no intention of having a romantic tryst, Asher finds himself intrigued, and wants to know Lily better.Lily is a widow, and was married for ten years to a man who was strict and proper, and tamped d [...]

    3. This was a very sweet Christmas novella that is tied into the Rules of the Rogue series, but could easily be a stand alone title.Spymaster and newly minted viscount, Asher Rainham is attending a holiday house party being hosted by his friend and former spy Lucas. Asher is a very sweet man who happens to be perceived as a bit odd by most people, he has a keen ability to read people, calculate odds and it a bit socially awkward. The book opens with Asher being perplexed by Mrs. Lily Mereworth, for [...]

    4. Delightful Regency Romance Merry Christmas, My Viscount, by Emily Windsor is a fun, feel-good read, ideal for Christmas or at any time of the year. I adored it! It is the first book that I have reviewed by the author and I was impressed with how she effortlessly blended romance, sexual tension and humour to create a compulsive read.I loved the heroine in the book, the widow Lily as she strives to recover her mojo. She is so determined to liberate herself from the memories of her marriage to her [...]

    5. Reviewed by JenBook provided by Emily Windsor Review originally posted at Romancing the Book I had been looking for a historical romance with a Christmas theme to read this holiday season. So when Emily Windsor requested to do a guest spot at Romancing the Book, I knew I had finally found the read I was looking for. Ms. Windsor is a new to me author, so it was doubly exciting to start reading. This is the second book in a series, and having not read the first one, I wasn’t at all lost. It stan [...]

    6. As some of you might know, I did not too long ago a review for another one of Emily's books An Earl in Wolf's Clothing and we have here another novel as part of the same series. It is pretty much a stand alone and you do not need to have read An Earl in Wolf's Clothing to enjoy this baby! So here we have a Christmas party and some really entertaining guests. However, for the purpose of our story 2 are the standouts Lily and Asher.  Lily is recently widowed and it looks like her dearly departed [...]

    7. Widowed Mrs. Lily Mereworth made a list of things to do. All things her husband would have forbidden. She wants to rediscover herself. There are only two things left on her list, and she only has this Christmas celebration week at her friend's house to accomplish them. She is a highly intelligent woman who has had hide what she is capable of for too long. Viscount Asher Rainham only recently gained his title because of his services to the Crown. He is a spy master and the commander of some of th [...]
