    1. I have had John Scott's book for years and I've been doing yoga for years too. Some 12 or 13 years I suppose. But it was not until Oct 2012 that I started to do Ashtanga yoga religiously and that's when I picked up this book again to read it word for word. I've read and stared at the pictures a hundred times. I keep it by my nightstand and every time I need inspiration, I open it for a few minutes. It is also helping me memorize the names of the poses which is very important when you do Ashtanga [...]

    2. Excellent book. The pictures are great and the information on beginning practice is really good. The only thing I find it lacking in is more of the spirituality. I think the book "Ashtanga Yoga" By Maehle has more of that in. Together the 2 books are excellent companions. But then.I'm still a novice in Ashtanga.

    3. No se puede aprender yoga con un libro. Es necesaria la corrección y guía presencial. p.s.:conforme leía imaginaba cómo sería yoga en el mundo bizarro de Superman. Fijo sería como "Practice and all is destruction", o "Inhale war, exhale hate", jaja.

    4. The only bad thing about this book is the binding - it's hard to keep it open as a reference while doing you're sun salutations, down dogs, etc.
